[:en]Prof. Dr. Mohamed Yousry Hashem, President of Heliopolis University, announced that the Faculty of Pharmacy at Heliopolis University has obtained academic accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, thus becoming the first college in the university to obtain academic accreditation. Accreditation guarantees a constant level of quality education and also ensures the continuous development of the institution and increases confidence in its outputs to comply with the requirements of the labor market, and this is reflected in its reputation and standing among pharmaceutical education institutions and the relevant authorities within them. and outside Egypt.[:ar]أعلن الأستاذ الدكتور محمد يسري هاشم، رئيس جامعة هليوبوليس، حصول كلية الصيدلة جامعة هليوبوليس، على الاعتماد الأكاديمي من قبل الهيئة القومية لضمان جودة التعليم والاعتماد، وبذلك تكون أول كلية بالجامعة حاصلة على الاعتماد الأكاديمي، مضيفًا أن اعتماد كلية الصيدلة يعد الخطوة الأولى لحصول باقي كليات الجامعة في الفترة المقبلة على الاعتماد كما أعلن أيضاً بداية زيارة المراجعة الخارجية لكلية الهندسة. وأكد هاشم أن الجامعة تبذل قصارى جهدها لتوفير كافة الإمكانات واستيفاء كافة الشروط التي تضمن حصول باقي كليات الجامعة على الاعتماد، وذلك لتحقيق هدف الجامعة في إعداد خريج قادر على المنافسة في سوق العمل محليًا ودوليًا. وقدم رئيس الجامعة التهنئة والشكر لجميع منسوبي الكلية والجامعة وعلى رأسهم الأستاذ حلمي أبو العيش رئيس مجلس الأمناء والمهندس محمد جمال أمين عام الجامعة والأستاذ الدكتور هشام حسين خليفة مستشار رئيس الجامعة لشئون جودة التعليم والأستاذ الدكتور جودة كامل هلال عميد كلية الصيدلة والأستاذ الدكتور أحمد أبو السعود وكيل كلية الصيدلة ومدير مركز ضمان الجودة بالجامعة ود. دينا لويس مدير وحدة ضمان الجودة بكلية الصيدلة. وأضاف الأستاذ الدكتور جودة كامل هلال عميد كلية الصيدلة بأن الاعتماد الأكاديمي لم يكن ليتحقق إلا بتعاون جميع أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة والجهاز الإداري وأشاد بدور طلاب الكلية وخريجيها المهم في هذا العمل. كما أبدى سعادته بما وصلت له الكلية في هذا اليوم حيث وافقت لجنة قطاع الدراسات الصيدلية التابعة للمجلس الأعلى للجامعات على لائحة الدراسات العليا في تخصصات حديثة مثل دبلوم اليقظة الدوائية وماجستير كيمياء العقاقير والنباتات الطبية وجاري استكمال المتطلبات من أجل بدأ الدراسة كما وافقت لجنة القطاع أيضاً على معادلة درجة البكالوريوس لخريجي الكلية وذلك لخمس سنوات قادمة. وتأتي أهمية الاعتماد الأكاديمي بأنه يؤكد أن الكلية مستوفاة للمعايير المطلوبة من الهيئة القومية لضمان جودة التعليم والاعتماد وهي الجهة الرسمية الوحيدة في مصر التي تمنح الاعتماد الأكاديمي. ويضمن الاعتماد وجود مستوى ثابت لجودة التعليم كما يضمن للمؤسسة التطوير المستمر ويرفع الثقة في مخرجاتها لتتوافق مع متطلبات سوق العمل، وينعكس على سمعتها ومكانتها بين المؤسسات التعليمية الصيدلية والجهات ذات الصلة داخل مصر وخارجها.  [:]

[:en]The Faculty of Pharmacy at Heliopolis University took the initiative to educate university students about safe drug use, by organizing an awareness campaign entitled “Safe Drug use”. The campaign came as one of the goals of the field of sustainable development in health care, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Gouda Helal, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Heliopolis University, and in cooperation with the Student Union and the Department of Pharmaceutical Practice at the Faculty of Pharmacy. “Safe Drug use” campaign is a scientific activity for students of the fourth and fifth year of the college and a practical application of the student’s courses for the two subjects, Pharmacy Practice 2, which is taught by Prof. Dr. Jihan Fathy, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Practice, and Pharmacotherapy 1, which is taught by Dr. Marwa Mohamed Said, a faculty member in the department. The students collected a lot of information through courses and their research skills and published them in brochures and posters on the campus with the aim of educating other non-pharmacy students. During the campaign, the students provided a full explanation to all attendees, including university professors, faculty members, the assistant staff, and their fellow students in all university faculties, as well as all university employees, about the importance of the safe use of medicine. The campaign was well received by the audience because of its new, valuable, and useful information that helps in the optimal and safe use of the drug.   [:ar]بادرت كلية صيدلة بجامعة هليوبوليس بتثقيف وتوعية طلاب الجامعة بالاستخدام الآمن للدواء، وكان ذلك من خلال تنظيم حملة توعوية حملت عنوان “الاستخدام الآمن للدواء”. وجاءت الحملة كهدف من أهداف مجال التنمية المستدامة في الرعاية الصحية، تحت رعاية الاستاذ الدكتور جودة هلال عميد كلية صيدلة في جامعة هليوبوليس، وبالتعاون مع اتحاد الطلاب وقسم الممارسة الصيدلية بكلية الصيدلة.  وتعتبر الحملة نشاط علمي لطلاب السنة الرابعة والخامسة بالكلية وتطبيقًا عمليًا للمقررات الدراسية للطلاب لمادتي Pharmacy Practice 2 والتى تدرسها الاستاذة الدكتورة  جيهان فتحي، رئيس قسم الممارسة الصيدلية ومادة Pharmacotherapy 1 والتى تدرسها الدكتورة مروة محمد سعيد عضو هيئة تدريس بالقسم.  وجمع الطلاب العديد من المعلومات من خلال المقررات الدراسية ومهاراتهم البحثية والتى استفادوا بنشرها في مطويات وملصقات في الحرم الجامعي بهدف توعية غيرهم من غير طلاب صيدلة.  وقدم الطلاب أثناء الحملة شرحًا وافيًا لجميع الحضور من أساتذة الجامعة وأعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة وزملائهم الطلاب بجميع كليات الجامعة وكذلك جميع العاملين بالجامعة عن أهمية الاستخدام الآمن للدواء.  وقد لاقت الحملة استحسان الحضور لما فيها من معلومات جديدة وقيمة ومفيدة تساعد على الاستخدام الأمثل والأمن للدواء. [:en] Ahmed Refaat is one of the most familiar faces and often seen across the campus of Heliopolis University for Sustainable Development. Probably, that is because he is the head of the students union, but also because he is one of the most active students at Heliopolis University. Ahmed Refaat, the “pharmacist to be”. He is proud of his achievements and shows us a big smile. The 23-years-old is a senior student at the faculty of Pharmacy at Heliopolis University and is looking forward to his graduation within a few months. Changing direction brings new chances On their way to apply to another university, Ahmed and his father noticed the signboard of Heliopolis University on the road. “At that moment, I decided to change our direction and go there to check it,” Ahmed recalls. “At Heliopolis University, I found a unique atmosphere – green areas everywhere with a special landscape architecture.” Also Mr. Refaat, Ahmed’s father became confident about how suitable the Heliopolis University would be for his son. “He was very excited about it, when he knew that Dr. Abouleish is the founder,” the senior student recounts. “Dr. Ibrahim Abouleish is well-known in Europe as one of the leaders in sustainable development. My father heard a lot about him during his stay there” he says. Leading the student union for two years “It is not only about the system that differs Heliopolis University from others. It is the way that we, as students find support and chances here,” the committed student states. Ahmed has been the president of the students union for two years in a row. Besides, he participated in huge projects supported by the university, “which pushed me more to work on myself,” Ahmed asserts. “Especially, the core program has made me learn how to be a better version of myself,” Ahmed tells while explaining how everyone in his close circle had noticed this change since his enrollment at Heliopolis University. “Accordingly, all credit goes to the core program and its holistic vision,” says the passionate student, who spent almost five years studying at the Heliopolis University. The Core program of Heliopolis University is part of the courses dedicated to sustainable development, which is introduced all the students. Through the core program, the university fosters cultural and social education. Ahmed Refaat aims to serve his community and to develop it sustainably: following the vision of Dr. Ibrahim Abouleish. With deep gratefulness he says: “I wish that all students at Heliopolis University could really value and appreciate what the university is offering. And hence, that they would contribute efficiently to realize the vision of sustainability for us and the world.” Marwa Nagib [:ar] أحمد رفعت هو واحد من الوجوه المألوفة و الاكثر رؤية في حرم جامعة هليوبوليس للتنمية المستدامة.ربما، لأنه هو رئيس اتحاد الطلاب، أو  لأنه واحد من أكثر الطلاب نشاطا في جامعة هليوبوليس. يبلغ احمد رفعت أربع وعشرون سنة من العمر و هو طالب رفيع المستوى في كلية الصيدلة بجامعة هليوبوليس، ويتطلع إلى تخرجه في غضون بضعة أشهر.ولقد بدأت قصة احمد في جامعة هليوبوليس بمصادفة. التغيير يجلب فرص جديدة وعندما كان أحمد ووالده في الطريق للتقدم إلى جامعة أخرى، لاحظ أحمد وأبيه لافتة جامعة هليوبوليس على الطريق. وقال أحمد: “في تلك اللحظة، قررت تغيير اتجاهنا والذهاب إلى هناك”.في جامعة هليوبوليس، وجدت أجواء فريدة من نوعها – المناطق الخضراء في كل مكان و المناظر الطبيعية الخلابة. أيضا السيد رفعت، والد أحمد أصبح واثقا حول مدى ملاءمة جامعة هليوبوليس لابنه.كان متحمسا جدا لذلك، عندما علم أن الدكتور أبو العيش هو مؤسس الجامعة لقد سمع والدي الكثير عنه خلال إقامته في أوروبا حيث أن الدكتور. إبراهيم أبو العيش معروف في أوروبا باعتباره واحدا من رواد التنمية المستدامة. رئيس اتحاد الطلاب لمدة عامين “ليس فقط النظام الذي يجعل جامعة هليوبوليس مختلفة عن غيرها من الجامعات,و لكن أيضا الطريقة التي يجد الطلاب عن طريقها الدعم والفرص المتنوعة, ”  هيئة اتحاد الطلاب . وكان أحمد رئيسا لاتحاد الطلبة لمدة عامين متتاليين. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، شارك في مشاريع ضخمة بدعم من الجامعة .ويؤكد أحمد أن البرنامج الأساسي دفعة للتعلم والاعتماد على الذات . إن البرنامج الأساسي لجامعة هليوبوليس هو جزء من الدورات المخصصة للتنمية المستدامة، والتي يتم تقديمها لجميع الطلاب. ومن خلال البرنامج الأساسي، تعزز الجامعة التربية الثقافية والاجتماعية. يسعي  أحمد رفعت إلى خدمة مجتمعه وتطويره بشكل مستدام وذلك باتباع رؤية  الدكتور إبراهيم أبو العيش والذي كان  يقول: “أتمنى أن جميع الطلاب في جامعة هليوبوليس يقدرون قيمة ما تقدمه الجامعة. ومن ثم، فإنها ستسهم بكفاءة لتحقيق رؤية الاستدامة بالنسبة لنا وللعالم “ مروة نجيب [:]
