Sekem is excited to announce the launch of its 2024 Training Projects, aimed at promoting
energy efficiency and clean energy practices within local communities, particularly focusing on
the students of Sekem School. In collaboration with HU and Eco Energy, this initiative seeks to
empower young learners through hands-on experiences in solar energy and sustainable
practices.
As we face the challenges of climate change, educating communities on the environmental,
economic, and social benefits of sustainable energy is more crucial than ever. The program will
engage students in practical learning experiences designed to inspire responsible energy
consumption and advocacy for renewable energy technologies.
Key Features of the Training Program:
• Interactive Workshops: Students will participate in engaging workshops that emphasize
the importance of energy efficiency and the adoption of clean energy solutions.
• Demonstrations and Projects: Through project-based learning, participants will gain
firsthand experience in implementing solar energy projects, enhancing their
understanding of renewable technologies.
• Community Engagement: The program aims to raise awareness in the wider community,
fostering a culture of sustainability that extends beyond the classroom.
Through these projects, Sekem aims to not only educate but also inspire students to become
advocates for sustainable energy practices in their communities. This initiative underscores
