[:en]The faculty of Pharmacy initiates “Safe Drug use” campaign [:ar]كلية صيدلة تبادر بحملة << الاستخدام الآمن للدواء>>[:]
[:en]The Faculty of Pharmacy at Heliopolis University took the initiative to educate university students about safe drug use, by organizing an awareness campaign entitled “Safe Drug use”. The campaign came as one of the goals of the field of sustainable development in health care, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Gouda Helal, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Heliopolis University, and in cooperation with the Student Union and the Department of Pharmaceutical Practice at the Faculty of Pharmacy. “Safe Drug use” campaign is a scientific activity for students of the fourth and fifth year of the college and a practical application of the student’s courses for the two subjects, Pharmacy Practice 2, which is taught by Prof. Dr. Jihan Fathy, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Practice, and Pharmacotherapy 1, which is taught by Dr. Marwa Mohamed Said, a faculty member in the department. The students collected a lot of information through courses and their research skills and published them in brochures and posters on the campus with the aim of educating other non-pharmacy students. During the campaign, the students provided a full explanation to all attendees, including university professors, faculty members, the assistant staff, and their fellow students in all university faculties, as well as all university employees, about the importance of the safe use of medicine. The campaign was well received by the audience because of its new, valuable, and useful information that helps in the optimal and safe use of the drug. [:ar]بادرت كلية صيدلة بجامعة هليوبوليس بتثقيف وتوعية طلاب الجامعة بالاستخدام الآمن للدواء، وكان ذلك من خلال تنظيم حملة توعوية حملت عنوان “الاستخدام الآمن للدواء”. وجاءت الحملة كهدف من أهداف مجال التنمية المستدامة في الرعاية الصحية، تحت رعاية الاستاذ الدكتور جودة هلال عميد كلية صيدلة في جامعة هليوبوليس، وبالتعاون مع اتحاد الطلاب وقسم الممارسة الصيدلية بكلية الصيدلة. وتعتبر الحملة نشاط علمي لطلاب السنة الرابعة والخامسة بالكلية وتطبيقًا عمليًا للمقررات الدراسية للطلاب لمادتي Pharmacy Practice 2 والتى تدرسها الاستاذة الدكتورة جيهان فتحي، رئيس قسم الممارسة الصيدلية ومادة Pharmacotherapy 1 والتى تدرسها الدكتورة مروة محمد سعيد عضو هيئة تدريس بالقسم. وجمع الطلاب العديد من المعلومات من خلال المقررات الدراسية ومهاراتهم البحثية والتى استفادوا بنشرها في مطويات وملصقات في الحرم الجامعي بهدف توعية غيرهم من غير طلاب صيدلة. وقدم الطلاب أثناء الحملة شرحًا وافيًا لجميع الحضور من أساتذة الجامعة وأعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة وزملائهم الطلاب بجميع كليات الجامعة وكذلك جميع العاملين بالجامعة عن أهمية الاستخدام الآمن للدواء. وقد لاقت الحملة استحسان الحضور لما فيها من معلومات جديدة وقيمة ومفيدة تساعد على الاستخدام الأمثل والأمن للدواء.
